In the centre of the picturesque little village of Giethoorn, you cross one of its' many wooden bridges, to find its' oldest museum, De Oude Aarde. Since 1969 the home to one of Holland's most beautiful collections of minerals and fossils, collected from the bowels of mother earth. Are you planning a visit? A gem of an idea!

You are welcome to visit the UV- exposition. Just imagine yourself... marvelling over minerals and fossils that through special lights show a spectacular display of colours that have been hidden for centuries.
